Grateful Dead Reviews
and some other stuff too :)

Welcome...

Here's a hearty hello to all visitors of this website. The main purpose of this site is to reccomend official releases by the Grateful Dead, to hopefully help inform you of what to buy (most) and what not to buy (a few). Email any reviews or comments to kingsofleon88@yahoo.com.

I will use the 1-10 grading scale, cause it's the simplest. 1-5 you should probably avoid all together, 6-7 you should get if you enjoy that period of Dead, and 8-10 are pretty darn great and are reccomendable. My favorite period of Dead is the 1972-1974 period, they were on fire! I also like 1977-1978, and well everything else really, but 1992-1995 and 1983-1984, 1986-1987 and any year before 1969 aren't favorites of mine. At first I'll be reviewing archival releases, that may change as time goes on.

Who the hell am I? I'm Zach Smith, a Senior at Clayton High School, in Clayton, Missouri. I'm a triplet and have been a deadhead since 8th Grade, when I first heard Workingman's Dead.

Go to all of these for more opinions.

The Best Of Website   My favorite, very well written and opinionated!

The Music Box Only slightly worse, cause they think it's all great! (Which I believe, but think that the God-like from the average great should be distinguishable)

Amazon Not bad, but check out the other two first.
